MIKAEL ÖBERG RESIGNS FROM RAMIRENT
Mikael Öberg, Senior Vice President, Scandinavia in the Ramirent Group, informed
the Company on 12 May 2009 that he has decided to leave Ramirent for a leading
position in another industry. The search for a successor will be commenced
immediately. Mr. Öberg will remain in his present position until 10 November
2009, or until a replacement is in place.
"I understand and respect Mr. Öberg's decision, although I would have preferred
to see him continue his successful career within Ramirent for many years to
come. I warmly thank Mikael for his excellent contribution to the development of
this Group", says Ramirent President and CEO Magnus Rosén. "Much to Mikael's
credit there is a stable and professional organization in place to handle the
business and continue his successful work in building up the Ramirent brand in
Sweden".
Mikael Öberg has been responsible for Ramirent's operations in Sweden since he
joined the company in 2002. Since 15 January 2009 he has as Senior Vice
President, Scandinavia also been responsible for the operations in Denmark and
Norway.
