Ramirent acquires JIAB Hyrcenter in northern Sweden

Now it is clear that Ramirent AB is acquiring JIAB Hyrcenter (consisting of the companies JIAB Hyrcenter AB and JIAB Boden AB) in northern Sweden. With this acquisition Ramirent further strengthens its position in Norrbotten and as the largest machine rental company in Sweden.

– The transaction is part of Ramirent's strategy to be the leading player with local roots all over Sweden, but above all in the north. JIAB is very well grounded in its area and has a high level of understanding of the market locally. Through the acquisition, we get the benefit of a strong local anchor in JIAB, while also having the backing of size and resources of Ramirent/Loxam, says Johan Färm, CEO of Ramirent AB. 

Ramirent hereby strengthens its position in the whole of Norrbotten with five new customer centers in Luleå, Piteå, Boden, Kiruna and Gällivare. There is generally a large focus on northern Sweden with significant investments in companies, innovations and solutions that can contribute to the green transition. Ramirent wants to be involved in running an energy-efficient, sustainable business and contribute to a fossil-free society.

JIAB Hyrcenter has approx. 60 employees in northern Sweden who will become part of Ramirent when the purchase is completed. Together, Ramirent and JIAB form the leading rental company with nearly 100 different rental centers in Sweden.
