Our corporate responsibility has a strong Nordic foundation. Through internationalisation we also transfer this responsible operating model to Ramirent companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe. Ramirent abides by the high Nordic standards of quality and safety in all the countries it operates in, even when the local legislation does not require it. Ramirent has decentralised operations in which responsibility is assigned to a large extent to the level of the local business units. Our decentralised business model and delegated responsibilities captures the entrepreneurial spirit in the Group. Responsible managers in every location prepare operating plan every year, which includes risk mapping and development targets for the next year. With local planning we are closer to the daily operations and we can focus on the issues which are the most current in each sector. There are many synergies that can be drawn from operating in 13 countries. In 2009, Ramirent will continue to support local operations by improving best practice sharing and creating uniform working methods for efficient information flow, building cooperation between the Ramirent countries and harmonizing our policies.
